The Turkeyfoot Cowboys’ annual banquet and business meeting was held on November 18, 2006 at the Red Carpet Golf Course in Waterloo. There was a finance report, Club awards were given out for the 2006 season, issues concerning the SASS Iowa State Championship were discussed, and the 2007 officers were elected.

Awards
Awards were given by category for each person who shoot in four or more matches. Winners will be posted on the web site soon.

State Shoot
It was decided to hold the 2007 state shoot at the Turkeyfoot range in Evansdale. Given the low number of shooters we had last year, it should be big enough, even if the numbers double. We will just have to pay more attention to how we arrange things.

There was discussion concerning the date, which last year was the first weekend in August. However, the discussion was tabled for the Board of Directors to decide. It will be posted as soon as possible.
