The Guns
Yep, we shoot
real guns with real bullets. Guns must be original or replicas of the kind
of guns used by cowboys in the late 1800's. The time period is usually
defined as 1860-1899.
Due to the
popularity of this sport, more firearms companies are producing authentic
reproductions of old west guns. So, these kinds of guns are readily available!
The basic
guns needed are: 2 single action Revolvers, one Rifle (usually lever action),
and one shotgun (usually a side-by-side double barrel or a pump with exposed
hammer) . Some clubs set up their stages to include pocket pistols as well. |
