Hibernating Bear

Pete, a friend of mine sent me these pictures of a hibernating bear in Wisconsin.
As you can see, it wasn't burrowed up hardly at all  and was almost in the open.

The bear was found because it had been tagged with a radio collar. It was only a couple of hundred yards from a house.

The bear would move from time to time and once it raised its head and looked around, but just went back to sleep.
