shots - 4 herds of 25 buffalo (16 to 22 inches high)

You have 8 – 12 minutes to
shoot each herd depending on the set up.

Shots will be from 100 –
400 yards
-
Buffalo have to be knocked
over to count for a score
-
500 grain bullets or larger
work best
-
You may bring your own shooting
mat, cross sticks, shooting bench. These items are also furnished.

Spotting scopes and spotters
-
Each herd will have specific
instructions concerning the use of spotting scopes and spotters

Range finders are not allowed.

for Mid-Long Range Shoot

Friday–practice day
a.m. mid range (100-600 yds.) p.m. long range (800-1000 yds.)

Mid range – 5 or 6 targets
- 8-10 shots per target –

Long range – one target at
800,900,1000 yds. 10 shots at each

Targets are life sized game
animals, deer. ram, mountain lion, wolf, coyote, pig, bear, jack rabbit,
turkey, yearling buffalo & six foot prairie dog

Pre Registration required

Saturday – 8:30 – posse assignments
no sighters allowed this day

Sunday – 8:30 – sighters
will be allowed

Mid range – sitting position

We have permanent, staked
buffalo for sighting at 100,150,200,250,& 300 yards.

There are targets for sight
in at 100,200,300,400,500,600,& 700 yards

at the range Saturday & Sunday at your cost.
